Precision molds occupy an important position in modern manufacturing, and their composition involves multiple key parts.

 

The first is the mold frame. The mold frame is like the skeleton of the precision mold, providing a supporting structure for the entire mold. It includes an upper mold base and a lower mold base. The guide pins and guide sleeves are usually installed on the mold base. The precise matching of the guide pins and guide sleeves can ensure that the mold is accurately guided during the mold closing and mold opening process, ensuring the correct position relationship of each component.

 

The core and cavity are the core components of precision molds. The core is used to form the inner wall shape of the product, while the cavity shapes the outer surface shape of the product. Their accuracy directly affects the quality of the molded product. The material selection for manufacturing the core and cavity is crucial, and it needs to have high hardness, high strength, high wear resistance and good thermal stability.

 

There is also a pouring system. The main function of the pouring system is to accurately introduce liquid plastic or other molding materials into the cavity. Its components include main channels, diverter channels, gates, etc. The main runner is the part that connects the injection molding machine nozzle and the branch runner. The branch runner evenly distributes the plastic from the main runner to each cavity, while the gate is the key to controlling the speed and direction of the plastic entering the cavity. Reasonable design of the pouring system can improve product quality and productivity.

 

In addition, the demolding mechanism is also an indispensable part of the precision mold. It is responsible for smoothly removing the product from the cavity after the product is molded. Common demolding mechanisms include push plate demolding and push rod demolding. At the same time, in order to prevent the plastic from overflowing the mold cavity during the molding process, a sealing device, such as a sealing ring, is also required to ensure the sealing of the mold. These components work together to form a precision mold.
